For Veterans

2008 Memorial Day

Garden of Honor
The Gardens wishes to provide our community with more burial options for Veterans. The closest national cemetery is in Bourne, MA, and visiting there can be difficult due to traveling distance. We believe that our section at The Gardens benefits local residents by providing an area exclusively for Veterans that is both close to home and beautifully maintained. The Garden of Honor, located at the entrance of the cemetery, adjacent to the cannon memorial from the USS Constitution, is currently available for veterans and their spouses.

U.S. Armed Sevice Members are eligible for a free marker from the V.A.

Veteran's Marker Application

Please note the following when completing this application:

  1. The Gardens only permits flush bronze and flush granite markers, therefore you may only choose from these first two options in Box 11 on the application.
  2. Upon completion, this application must be sent to our office at The Gardens (we will review application to ensure accuracy and forward to the V.A.).
  3. Please remember to include a copy of service members' military discharge papers along with your completed application.

“Should you have any questions while completing the application, please contact our office. We will be more than happy to assist you.”
